DO VERB – PRESENT

DO VERB (PRESENT) என்றால் என்ன?

Present tense-ல் DO / DOES என்பது ஒருவர் வழக்கமாக அல்லது தற்போது ஒரு செயலை செய்கிறார் என்பதை சொல்ல பயன்படும்.

I / You / We / They ➔ DO He / She / It ➔ DOES

1. POSITIVE (+)

Explanation: Present Positive sentence என்பது ஒருவர் ஒரு செயலை செய்கிறார் அல்லது வழக்கமாக செய்கிறார் என்பதை சொல்ல பயன்படும்.
Formula: Subject + DO / DOES + Object

💡 Simple Note:
• DO = செய்கிறேன் / செய்கிறோம் / செய்கிறீர்கள் / செய்கிறார்கள்
• DOES = செய்கிறான் / செய்கிறாள் / செய்கிறது
• 📌 Important: He / She / It ➔ DOES  |  I / You / We / They ➔ DO

2. NEGATIVE (-)

Explanation: Present Negative sentence என்பது ஒருவர் ஒரு செயலை செய்யவில்லை என்பதை சொல்ல பயன்படும்.
Formula: Subject + DO / DOES + NOT + Main Verb + ...

✂️ Short Forms (DO NOT = DON'T | DOES NOT = DOESN'T):
• Examples: I don't play cricket. | He doesn't play cricket. | They don't play cricket.
⚠️ IMPORTANT RULE:
After DOES NOT, always use the base form of the main verb.
DOES ஏற்கனவே Present tense உருவத்தை காட்டுவதால், Main Verb Base Form-ல் தான் இருக்க வேண்டும்.

Explanation: Present Positive Question என்பது ஒருவர் ஒரு செயலை செய்கிறாரா என்று கேட்க பயன்படும்.
📌 Important rule: DO / DOES sentence-ன் ஆரம்பத்தில் வரும்.
Formula: DO / DOES + Subject + Main Verb + ... ?
